7/10This game surprised me. I had never even heard of it and it was a pretty darn good game. A little bit "Gauntlet," with a dash of "Zelda," but a linear progression through levels like a standard platformer. It made for an interesting mix blending the action with item collection. Though the items are not necessary to move on to the next level, some levels are very difficult without them. Plus your weapon powers up which is a nice touch. All in all a good little game, just not a whole lot of replayability.
